Emerging from the 2020 global pandemic has revealed that we can in fact put health at the center of our society. The aftermath has left us all on a quest to find therapy and make more sense of a world in crisis.
Many of us had to deal with the stress of change, uncertainty, loss, confusion, disruption, and being with ourselves in isolation, for the first time, to see what hides beneath our mental and emotional well-being.
In this episode, Jen Kleiner, film director, creative consultant, and life coach, helps us understand how to tap into the unseen and hidden world of our thoughts and feelings, and the characters that live inside us all.
We discuss discovering parts within us guided through Internal Family Systems, and using emotional technology, both inside and out to live a more fulfilling, meaningful, and healthy existence.
Jen leaves us all with therapy tools such as “listening is the cure”, and how to recognize and bring forward repressed parts that might be sabotaging our relationships, and our coping behaviors.
Touching a bit on psychedelics, we find how they are fast becoming the holy grail of a breakthrough in supporting those suffering from trauma, and how even if you have a chronic illness, mental or physical, how to continue to contribute to your gifts of joy, and purpose.
The caveat Jen leaves with our community is to make eye contact with others and reflect on at least one thing they say in a conversation, creating intimacy, trust, and connection.
